About This Quote

On the night of New Year’s Day, I thought of a wonderful New Year’s resolution for the men who run the world: get to know the people who only live in it. We don’t know how to live, we just live. We think our way through life and we put up with what we have to and try and be satisfied with that. We don’t want to take risks because we don’t want to fail, so we never take any chances.

We don’t feel like we can do something because we feel like there is too much at stake. But when you look at people who live in poverty, they seem to be able to take big chances and still come out on top. It is important that people in power learn how to take risks and pursue their dreams.
